Saprissa president clarifies decision regarding Fernán Faerron

Deportivo Saprissa president Roberto Artavia has clarified the club's decision not to sign defender Fernán Faerron. Following internal discussions involving the technical staff and sports management, the club determined that Faerron would not be a good fit for the team's current dynamics and locker room culture.

Faerron, who is currently a free agent after leaving Club Sport Cartaginés, has been the subject of various transfer rumors. While Artavia questioned why other Costa Rican clubs had not approached the defender, Inter San Carlos sports manager Yosimar Arias stated that, as of now, neither the player nor his representatives have approached the club to discuss a potential move. Arias noted that while Faerron is a good player, any final decision regarding signings rests with the club's president.
