The Saquarema Beer Fest concluded its four-day program at Praça do Coração in the city center. The festival, which featured an Oktoberfest theme, included live music, gastronomy, and artisanal beers to promote local tourism and support businesses such as hotels, restaurants, and breweries.

Additionally, the Saquarema City Hall has announced a new edition of the ‘Adote um Amigo’ event. Scheduled for Saturday, October 24, at Praça do Canhão, the initiative offers free services for animal health and protection. In partnership with the University of Vassouras, the event will provide microchipping, animal ID issuance, neutering appointments, and basic hygiene care. The program also includes an adoption campaign and ‘Outubro Rosa Pet’ activities to raise awareness about breast cancer prevention in dogs and cats.
