Saquarema hosts WSL REMA 2026 surfing and culture festival

The WSL REMA 2026 festival is scheduled to take place from September 14 to 20 at Praia de Itaúna in Saquarema, Brazil. The event features the World Surf League (WSL) QS 6.000 International competition as its central sporting attraction.

Beyond professional surfing, the festival aims to integrate various aspects of surf culture, including skateboarding, cinema, music, and environmental discussions. The programming also includes wellness activities such as yoga, crossfit, and functional surf training to engage athletes, residents, and visitors.
