Saquarema man shot and killed inside his home

A man named Robson Portela de Aguiar was shot and killed inside his home in the Guarani neighborhood of Saquarema, Rio de Janeiro, on Thursday morning. According to police reports, the victim's wife stated that after they arrived at the residence around 8:10 a.m., she heard someone shout “perdeu, perdeu” (you lost) followed by gunshots.

The wife reported seeing an individual wearing black clothing and a balaclava fleeing the scene. While the victim's mobile phone was reported missing, investigators also found a firearm replica near the body. Although the home is equipped with security cameras, the wife noted they were not functioning at the time of the incident. The Civil Police are investigating the homicide and searching for footage that may help identify the suspects.
