Saquarema Organizes Free Children’s Nature Program and Arraiá Festival

The Saquarema municipal government is running a free "De Férias na Natureza" program on Sunday, 26 July 2026, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Geoparque da Salina. Designed for children aged 3‑7 and their guardians, the event offers forest expeditions, waterfall baths, body‑painting, picnics and ecological workshops, with transport, insurance, educators, snacks and materials provided. Participation is limited to ten children per session and registration is done through the Colab app.

Later in the week, the municipality’s Arraiá da Vila celebration began on Friday, 17 July at the Campo de Aviação. The free, weekend‑long festivity features live forró music by Johny Vianna, Luan Severo and Gabriel Oliveira, typical food stalls, crafts and rides for families, and will run through 2 August on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.
