Saquarema to host 1st Costa do Sol Tourism Festival

Saquarema will host the 1st Costa do Sol Tourism Festival from September 21 to 23. Organized by the Costa do Sol Regional Tourism Consortium (Condetur), the event aims to bring together managers and professionals from 13 municipalities to discuss public policies and projects for regional tourism development.

Participants include mayors, secretaries, and industry professionals from Araruama, Búzios, Arraial do Cabo, Cabo Frio, Carapebus, Casimiro de Abreu, Iguaba Grande, Macaé, Maricá, Quissamã, Rio das Ostras, and São Pedro da Aldeia. The festival will feature five sectoral chambers designed to build collective proposals for seeking state and federal resources.

Topics of discussion will include ecotourism, rural tourism, and adventure tourism. The event is supported by the Rio de Janeiro State Tourism Company (TurisRio) and local business and hospitality entities.
