Sara and Gabriele named first Temptation Island couple; Rosa Perrotta and Pietro Tartaglione plan June wedding

The upcoming 2026 season of the Italian reality show "Temptation Island" will launch on 2 July, with host Filippo Bisciglia. The first couple announced for the programme are Sara and Gabriele, who have been together for six and a half years and have lived together for two years. In their introduction video Gabriele accuses Sara of infidelity, while she rebuts that he wants to keep her in his “glass bubble”. The pair’s tensions and claims of past trips to starred restaurants have been highlighted as a preview of the show’s drama.

Separately, former participants of another Italian reality series, "Uomini e Donne", Rosa Perrotta and Pietro Tartaglione are reported to be preparing a wedding for late June 2026. The couple met on the show in 2017, have two children born in 2019 and 2021, and are said to be finalising wedding arrangements, though neither has publicly confirmed the plans.

Both announcements have generated considerable discussion among Italian television audiences ahead of the new season of "Temptation Island" and the rumored wedding.
