Sara announces 11th album and 2027 Finnish tour

The Finnish metal band Sara has announced the release of their 11th studio album, titled ‘Í heiminum’ (Icelandic for ‘In the World’), scheduled for January 2027. The announcement follows the band’s 30th-anniversary celebration at a sold-out show in Tampere.

The first single from the upcoming album, ‘Harhailija’, has been released alongside a music video. According to vocalist and guitarist Joa Korhonen, the track explores themes of wandering and the concept of home as something carried within oneself rather than a physical location.

To support the new album, the band will embark on a 10-city club tour across Finland in early 2027, including stops in Helsinki, Tampere, Kuopio, Jyväskylä, Oulu, Vaasa, Lahti, Savonlinna, Turku, and Seinäjoki. Tickets for the tour are set to go on sale on Monday, September 7.
