Sara Carra wins Italian women's rally title at Rally Regione Piemonte

Salento driver Sara Carra, racing for Casarano Rally Team, secured the 2026 Italian women’s rally championship (CIAR Sparco Femminile) at the Rally Regione Piemonte in Alba. By winning the event she clinched the title mathematically with two rounds of the season still to run, confirming her status as the defending champion.

The Rally Regione Piemonte, the 20th edition of the event, is a key round of the Italian Rally Championship, featuring eleven special stages across the Langhe’s UNESCO‑listed terrain. Fellow competitor Ivan Ferrarotti of Scuderia Movisport launched his Hyundai i20 N Rally2 campaign in the same rally, noting, “Stiamo proseguendo un progetto completamente nuovo e sappiamo che serve tempo per crescere e conoscere a fondo questa vettura.”
