Sara Drago to join cast of ‘I casi di Teresa Battaglia’

Italian actress Sara Drago is set to join the cast of the Rai series ‘I casi di Teresa Battaglia – Figlia della cenere’. She will portray Serena Giorgi, the new head of the forensics department (Scientifica), taking over the role previously held by Giulio Nistri.

Drago, known for her work in ‘Call My Agent Italia’, will appear in the new season starting Monday, October 12, on Rai 1. Her character is described as a professional woman who, despite an initially tough exterior, develops a strong female bond with the protagonist, Teresa Battaglia, played by Elena Sofia Ricci.

In addition to her television work, Drago will perform in Molière’s ‘The Misanthrope’ (Il Tartuffo), directed by Michele Sinisi, at Sala Umberto in Rome on December 1 and 2. She has expressed interest in using her television visibility to encourage audiences to engage with live theater.
