Sara Gilbert Sells Los Angeles Farmhouse for $8.5 Million

Actress and producer Sara Gilbert has sold her modern farmhouse in the historic Hancock Park neighborhood of Los Angeles for $8.45 million. The home, which she bought in 2016 for about $6.8 million, netted a profit of roughly $1.6 million. The property was originally listed in April 2025 at nearly $11 million and after two price reductions found a buyer represented by Sandro Dazzan of The Agency, while the sellers were represented by Jamie Sherof of the Sher Group and Jonah Wilson of Carolwood Estates. The 6,400‑square‑foot residence features six bedrooms, seven bathrooms, an open‑concept great room with a skylit dining area, a pool with an inset spa, and a media/game room, among other amenities.

The sale underscores continued demand for high‑end homes in Los Angeles’ coveted neighborhoods, reflecting broader resilience in the local luxury‑real‑estate market.
