Sara Hagström selected for European Orienteering Championships

Orienteer Sara Hagström has been pre-selected for the European Orienteering Championships in Druskininkai, Lithuania, scheduled for late September. This marks a significant comeback for the former world and European champion following the birth of her daughter in May.

Hagström secured her spot after strong performances at the Swedish Championships in Suttarboda, where she finished as the third-best Swedish runner in the middle distance and won the relay with IFK Göteborg. Despite noting that she is not yet back to full training due to previous injuries and her recent childbirth, her recent results have earned her a place in the national squad.
