Sarah Ferguson set to return to UK after months abroad
Sarah Ferguson, the former Duchess of York, is reportedly preparing to return to the United Kingdom after spending several months abroad. According to reports, she is set to rent a six-bedroom gated property in the Home Counties, with an estimated monthly cost of £10,000.
Her return follows a period of relative seclusion in Europe, including stays at a wellness clinic in Austria and a luxury chalet in Verbier, Switzerland, which belonged to her late friend and benefactor, racing tycoon Paddy McNally. Her belongings were recently collected from the residence of her former husband, Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, in Sandringham, Norfolk.
Ferguson’s move comes amid significant personal and professional changes. She and her ex-husband were stripped of their royal titles and forced to vacate Royal Lodge following intense scrutiny regarding their connections to the late convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. The fallout from the Epstein documents has led to Ferguson losing her courtesy title and her Freedom of the City of York.
