Sarah Ferguson reportedly staying in Verbier following death of Paddy McNally

Former Duchess of York Sarah Ferguson is reportedly spending the summer in Verbier, Switzerland, according to royal commentator Richard Kay. The Swiss ski resort is being used as a quiet retreat to avoid media attention and public appearances.

Ferguson has been staying at a property belonging to her late friend, businessman Paddy McNally, who passed away in July at the age of 88. McNally, a Formula One mogul with an estimated fortune of £600 million, had maintained a long-standing friendship with Ferguson following a relationship in the 1980s.

While there has been speculation regarding whether McNally left a portion of his estate to Ferguson, Kay suggested this is unlikely. He noted that McNally had provided significant financial support to Ferguson throughout her life and reportedly planned to leave much of his wealth to charity.
