Sarah J. Maas announces new ACOTAR books and board game

Author Sarah J. Maas has announced new developments for her ‘A Court of Thorns and Roses’ (ACOTAR) series. The sixth installment will be released in multiple volumes, with the first part scheduled for October 27, 2026. This will be followed by parts two and three, which are set to be released together on January 12, 2027. A fourth part will follow separately.

In addition to the upcoming literature, Goliath Games is launching a new board game titled ‘A Court of Thorns and Roses: Fate & Favor Game’ this fall. The game allows one to seven players to take on the roles of High Lords from the series' seven courts, featuring strategic gameplay, character cards, and immersive storytelling based on the magical land of Prythian.
