Sarah J. Maas reveals next ACOTAR book titles and covers

Author Sarah J. Maas has revealed the titles, covers, and release dates for the next two installments in her bestselling ‘A Court of Thorns and Roses’ (ACOTAR) series. The upcoming books, which together comprise ‘The Valkyrie Cycle,’ are titled ‘A Court of Splintered Harmony’ and ‘A Court of Forgotten Melody.’

‘A Court of Splintered Harmony’ is scheduled for release on October 27, 2026. The plot involves the stirring of Koschei the Deathless and the resulting threats to the Fae territories and the Night Court. ‘A Court of Forgotten Melody’ is set to follow on January 12, 2027, as diplomacy fails and the threat of Koschei reaches a critical point.

The announcement was made via social media and supported by digital billboards in Los Angeles, Denver, and New York City. The series, published by Bloomsbury, has sold millions of copies and remains a major influence in the romantasy genre.
