Sarah J. Maas to release ACOTAR book 6 in October 2026

The sixth installment in Sarah J. Maas’s A Court of Thorns and Roses series, titled ‘A Court of Splintered Harmony: The Valkyrie Cycle, Movement I’, is scheduled for global release by Bloomsbury on October 27, 2026. The audiobook will also be available on the same date.

In anticipation of the release, readers have suggested alternative romantasy titles, including Maas’s own ‘Throne of Glass’ and ‘House of Earth and Blood’ from the Crescent City series. Recent online rumors regarding potential leaks of the new book's chapters have circulated on platforms like BookTok and Reddit, though the impact of such rumors is noted as secondary to the experience of reading the author's intended narrative.
