Sarah Jessica Parker addresses Carrie Bradshaw misconception

Actress Sarah Jessica Parker has addressed the common misconception that she is her famous character, Carrie Bradshaw. In an interview with British Vogue, the 61-year-old actress stated that the biggest misconception people have about her is ‘that I am Carrie’.

Parker has portrayed the New York columnist for 27 years, beginning with the original ‘Sex and the City’ series in 1998. Following the original series and two subsequent films, Parker reprised her role in the revival series ‘And Just Like That...’, which ran for three seasons from 2021 to 2025.

Upon the conclusion of the revival series, Parker shared an emotional farewell to the character, noting that Carrie Bradshaw has been a massive part of her professional life and expressing that she loved the character more than anyone else.
