Sarah Knafo releases book proposing 130 billion euro savings plan

Sarah Knafo, a Member of the European Parliament and second-in-command of the Reconquête party, has released a new book titled ‘Le casse du siècle’ (The Crime of the Century) published by Fayard. The book, which has an initial print run of 100,000 copies, critiques the French state as overly bureaucratic and proposes a plan to achieve 130 billion euros in savings.

The book launch serves as a precursor to the Reconquête summer university, scheduled for September 12 and 13 in Port-Marly. During this event, Knafo and party leader Éric Zemmour are expected to present resolutions aimed at increasing French purchasing power, including significant reductions in the number of civil servants. While Knafo has stated that Zemmour is the ‘natural candidate’ for the 2027 presidential election, she has not clarified her own potential candidacy.
