Sarah Knafo’s book ‘Le Casse du siècle’ tops bestseller lists

European Parliament member Sarah Knafo has achieved significant commercial success with her book, ‘Le Casse du siècle’, published by Fayard. The work, described as an investigation into an economic crime affecting France, has topped various bestseller lists, including Amazon and Fnac, during the summer of 2026.

Sales figures indicate a massive disparity between Knafo and other French political figures. Knafo has sold approximately 63,087 copies of her book, which was released on September 2. In comparison, the combined sales of books by Raphaël Glucksmann, Gabriel Attal, François Bayrou, François Hollande, and Élisabeth Borne total only 14,776 copies.

In her book, Knafo discusses public spending and proposes a plan to achieve 130 billion euros in savings. The book's rapid ascent to the top of the charts has garnered significant media attention from national publications such as Le Point and Le Figaro Magazine.
