Sarah Obregón appointed Director General of Ibero Tijuana

Dr. Sarah Obregón Davis has assumed the role of General Director of the Universidad Iberoamericana Tijuana for the 2026-2030 term. Her appointment marks a significant milestone as she is the first woman to hold this position at the institution.

Obregón Davis stated that her administration will focus on maintaining academic excellence, improving infrastructure, and ensuring institutional sustainability. She also emphasized the importance of strengthening the university's connection to the binational dynamics of the Tijuana and Baja California border region.

Addressing modern educational challenges, she highlighted the need to integrate technological innovation into teaching while fostering critical thinking, professional ethics, and the ability to discern information among students.
