Sarah Pidgeon discusses anxiety regarding ‘Love Story’ success

Actress Sarah Pidgeon has shared that she would have been ‘crippled with anxiety’ had she anticipated the level of success the series ‘Love Story’ would achieve during filming. Pidgeon, 30, portrayed Carolyn Bessette-Kennedy in the production, which depicts the romance between Bessette-Kennedy and John F. Kennedy Jr.

In an interview with ELLE UK, Pidgeon described the physical reaction she had to the realization that the show was nearing completion, noting that she ‘broke out in hives’ when the first cuts were being assembled. She also discussed the significant lifestyle changes resulting from her sudden rise to prominence, including increased travel, attending couture shows, and appearing on late-night television.

Pidgeon is set to receive the Modern Muse award at the ELLE Style Awards 2026.
