Sarah Storey joins Strictly Come Dancing 2026 lineup

Paralympic legend Dame Sarah Storey has been confirmed as a contestant for the 2026 season of BBC’s ‘Strictly Come Dancing’. Storey, the most successful British Paralympic athlete with 19 gold medals, stated that she did not hesitate to accept the opportunity after stepping down from competitive sports.

The upcoming series will feature a refreshed lineup, including new presenters Emma Willis, professional dancer Johannes Radebe, and comedian Josh Widdicombe. The judging panel remains unchanged, consisting of Craig Revel Horwood, Motsi Mabuse, Anton Du Beke, and head judge Shirley Ballas.

Other confirmed participants include presenter Will Best. The show is expected to return to BBC One and iPlayer in September.
