Montenegro and Sarajevo Canton launch school sports infrastructure projects

In Montenegro, the “Nek’ se čuje lopta” program has completed the adaptation of sports courts at the “Mileva Lajović Lalatović” elementary school in Nikšić. This joint initiative by the Ministry of Education, Science and Innovation, the Ministry of Sports and Youth, and the Center for Affirmation of Sports and Youth (CAMS) aims to improve school infrastructure. The upgrades include new acrylic surfaces and equipment such as basketball hoops, goals, volleyball sets, Teqball tables, table tennis equipment, and fitness machines. To date, the program has enhanced sports facilities in five schools across Montenegro, specifically in Podgorica and Nikšić.

In Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Ministry of Culture and Sports of Sarajevo Canton, in collaboration with ACAR EVENTS, has launched the “Teqball in Schools” project. The initiative aims to introduce the sport of Teqball to young people by distributing over 20 Teq tables to schools, colleges, and student dormitories within the Sarajevo Canton. Initial equipment has already been delivered to the University of Sarajevo’s Faculty of Kinesiology and the Fifth Gymnasium in Sarajevo. The project focuses on promoting physical activity, coordination, and teamwork through this multifunctional sport.
