Sarajevo Film Festival hosts Rodrigo Sorogoyen masterclass
The 32nd Sarajevo Film Festival featured a masterclass by acclaimed Spanish director Rodrigo Sorogoyen at the Bosnian Cultural Centre. During the session, Sorogoyen reflected on his career and his connection to Sarajevo, noting that he and his collaborators decided to found their own production company after visiting the festival 17 years ago.
Sorogoyen, a multi-Goya Award winner, discussed the importance of teamwork in filmmaking and his background in screenwriting. The festival also hosted various premieres and screenings, including the international premiere of Kosara Mitić’s film ‘17’ and the regional premiere of Sandra Wollner’s ‘Every Time’.
On the red carpet, actor Branko Đurić Đuro attended the event with his family, including his wife, Slovenian actress Tanja Ribič, and daughter Ela. The festival continues to showcase diverse regional and international cinema through various venues, including the National Theatre and open-air cinemas.
