Sarajevo hosts 2026 Business Angel and Mayors Summits

Sarajevo will host two major international conferences in 2026. The Business Angel Summit, organized by the 787 Foundation and the BHBAN network, takes place from 7 to 9 October and brings together global investors, venture‑capital funds and startup founders. Confirmed speakers include Elizabeth Yin of Hustle Fund and other leading figures from the European and Silicon Valley ecosystems. The summit will feature a regional pitch competition, with the winner advancing to the Startup World Cup final in San Francisco.

From 13 to 15 August, the city will also hold the Sarajevo Mayors Summit. Mayors from Zagreb, Ljubljana, Podgorica, Pristina, Ankara, Istanbul, Brussels and other regional capitals, together with EU, OSCE and other international representatives, will discuss sustainable urban development, peace, multiculturalism and climate responsibility. The summit will adopt the Sarajevo Declaration 2026 and coincide with the opening of the 32nd Sarajevo Film Festival.
