Sarajevo hosts international music concert and book launch celebrating Bosnian culture

Musician Sandy Lopičić returned to Sarajevo after 36 years, performing with the Sarajevo Philharmonic Orchestra and highlighting the blend of Balkan, jazz and classical influences in his concerts. He described the events as personal updates and emphasized music’s power to unite audiences across the region.

Spanish author Marc Casals Iglesias promoted his new book “Kamen ostaje” in Sarajevo, noting the city’s special significance to his decade‑long connection with Bosnian literature. The book presents sixteen stories about Bosnia and Herzegovina, with particular focus on personal narratives from the war period, including a poignant account of a Srebrenica mother that resonated strongly with Spanish readers.
