Sarajevo preschool teachers indicted for child abuse and bodily injury

The municipal court in Sarajevo confirmed the indictment filed by the Cantonal Prosecutor's Office of Sarajevo against two teachers at the private preschool "Bambini". The indictment alleges that the teachers committed the crimes of child neglect or abuse and light bodily injury.

Prosecutors have requested a ten‑year ban on the defendants from any work involving the care or education of children, along with other security measures. The case will involve testimony from 21 witnesses, three expert witnesses and the examination of more than 70 pieces of material evidence.

Because the matter concerns minors, the identities of the accused and other identifying details are being kept confidential.
