Saramacca Fruit & Vegetable Farmers Cooperative donates technology to LVV

The Saramacca Fruit & Vegetable Farmers Cooperative has donated a projector to the Saramacca branch of the Ministry of Agriculture, Animal Husbandry and Fisheries (LVV) to support regional agricultural development.

The donation, officially handed over on August 10, is intended to enhance the effectiveness of training sessions, workshops, and community meetings. By providing technological tools, the cooperative aims to facilitate better knowledge sharing and education among local farmers and resort leaders.

Cooperative Chair Judith Sloote-Rattar noted that the initiative seeks to stimulate the development of agricultural practices through innovation and participation. Sawirjo Soeparman, Deputy Director of Agriculture Middle, accepted the equipment, stating that the donation underscores the strong cooperation between the local community and the ministry in promoting sustainable agriculture.
