Saranda, Albania sees surge of foreign tourists this season
Saranda on Albania’s southern coast is attracting visitors from around the world during the early tourist season. A family from Philadelphia praised the "fantastic nature" and "crystal‑clear water" of the beaches, while a Ukrainian resident of Germany described the coastline as the best place for a summer holiday, noting reasonable prices for apartments and market food.
Local tourism operators report that the season began earlier than usual, with a noticeable presence of young European travelers. Port statistics show a high number of arrivals, especially among younger age groups, and officials hope to also draw older visitors (over 40) who seek a different type of holiday experience.
