The National Hippodrome of Valencia in Venezuela has announced the withdrawal of two horses from its 20th meeting of the 2026 season, scheduled for Saturday, August 15.

According to the National Institute of Hippodromes (INH), the withdrawals were made for medical reasons to ensure animal welfare and transparency. The affected horses are Chiefsttar, withdrawn from the first race due to inflammation of the left front carpus, and Princess Abarri, withdrawn from the sixth race due to right front tendonitis.
