Saratoga Race Course previews 2026 Fourstardave and Forego Stakes

The Fourstardave Stakes, a Grade 1 turf mile at Saratoga Race Course, will honor the late champion Fourstardave. The 2026 field includes notable contenders such as Rhetorical, Mi Bago, Zulu Kingdom, Classic Q, Deterministic and Capitol Hill, each backed by leading trainers and jockeys.

The Forego Stakes, scheduled for August 29, 2026, is a Grade 1 sprint over seven furlongs that celebrates the versatile champion Forego. It draws top older sprinters from major North American stables, and a win is viewed as a key indicator for the remainder of the sprint division’s campaign.

Both races are highlighted as premier events of Saratoga’s summer meeting, offering significant prestige, “Win‑and‑You‑Are‑In” Breeders’ Cup opportunities, and valuable form insights for owners, trainers, jockeys and racing fans.
