A Flying Doctor Service (FDS) helicopter crash in Sarawak, Malaysia, has resulted in the deaths of five people. The aircraft, a BO-105 model, crashed near the Long Lellang STOLport in the Ulu Baram district while performing medical missions for remote communities.

The victims have been identified as one pilot and four Ministry of Health personnel, including a medical officer, an assistant medical officer, and two nurses. Search and rescue operations were reportedly hindered by heavy haze caused by wildfires in the region, and the remote crash site required a 10-hour journey by road.

In response to the tragedy, the Malaysian Ministry of Health has temporarily suspended all FDS operations in Sarawak to conduct a comprehensive safety and operational review. Additionally, Layang-Layang Aerospace Sdn Bhd has voluntarily grounded its entire fleet of BO-105 helicopters and other aircraft using Rolls-Royce 250-series engines as a precautionary measure. The Civil Aviation Authority of Malaysia (CAAM) and the Air Accident Investigation Bureau are currently investigating the cause of the accident.
