Sarawak Premier Abang Johari launches MISPRO app for mosque services

Premier Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg inaugurated MISPRO, a digital platform designed to modernise mosque and surau services in Sarawak. The application, developed by Majlis Islam Sarawak in partnership with HPCS Sdn Bhd and Affin Islamic Bank, aims to digitise administrative processes and improve community engagement for the Muslim population.

During the Ziarah Mahabbah ceremony at Dataran Pehin Setia Raja in Mukah, Abang Johari highlighted that Sarawak now holds a majority shareholding in Affin Bank following the state’s acquisition of its largest stake, underscoring the region’s growing economic strength and its ability to forge strategic collaborations that benefit both Muslim and non‑muslim communities.
