Sarawakku Sayang Programme attracts 50,000 visitors in Mukah

The Sarawakku Sayang Programme in the Mukah Division has drawn approximately 50,000 visitors, according to Deputy Minister of Urban Planning, Land Administration and Natural Resources, Datuk Len Talif Salleh. The initiative serves as a platform for the Sarawak state government to engage directly with the community through service delivery and various social activities.

State Secretary Datuk Amar Mohamad Abu Bakar Marzuki noted that the programme allows residents to meet department heads and senior officials face-to-face. This direct interaction is intended to provide immediate explanations regarding government services and allow for the prompt resolution of concerns that do not require formal, lengthy channels.

In addition to administrative engagement, the event featured community activities such as a 3KM Fun Walk Costume, which saw higher than expected participation. The programme aims to promote healthy lifestyles and improve accessibility to government information and services for local residents.
