Sardar 2 spy thriller set for worldwide release on September 10

The international spy thriller Sardar 2, directed by PS Mithran, is scheduled for a worldwide release on September 10. The film stars Karthi, SJ Suryah, and Malavika Mohanan, and is being released in Telugu by Annapurna Studios.

During a pre-release event, Karthi described the film as a tribute to spies living in the shadows, noting that the action sequences are designed to be high-impact. Actor Adivi Sesh expressed high anticipation for the sequel, stating he intends to watch it as a fan.

Co-star Malavika Mohanan revealed that her role in the film is highly action-oriented, involving various stunt sequences that pushed her personal limits. In recent fan interactions, she also reflected on her career, citing her experience working with Rajinikanth in the film Petta as a foundational moment of support for her as a newcomer.
