Sardar 2 trailer released for Karthi spy thriller

The trailer for the Tamil spy thriller Sardar 2 has been released, marking the continuation of the franchise established by the 2022 film Sardar. Directed by PS Mithran and produced by Prince Pictures, the film serves as both a prequel and a sequel, featuring Karthi in a dual role as father and son.

The story explores the life of a spy and delves into the emotional guilt surrounding his character. SJ Suryah stars as the antagonist, setting up an intense face-off with Karthi. The ensemble cast also includes Malavika Mohanan, Ashika Ranganath, Rajisha Vijayan, and Yogi Babu.

Technical highlights include music by Sam CS, marking his 100th project, cinematography by George C. Williams, and editing by Vijay Velukutty. The film is scheduled for a grand worldwide release on September 10.
