Sardinia allocates 14 million euros to third sector associations
The Sardinia Region has approved 14.38 million euros in funding to support third sector associations for the 2026–2028 three-year period. The regional government, following a proposal by President Alessandra Todde, established a unified regional program to manage these resources.
The funding is divided into three main measures: the renewal of transport vehicles for vulnerable individuals, general support for association activities, and the implementation of social and socio-sanitary projects. Specifically, 6.28 million euros is earmarked for purchasing new vehicles and replacing obsolete ones used by organizations to transport fragile citizens.
President Todde stated that the initiative aims to strengthen the work of associations, particularly in remote areas and small centers where public services are limited, to reduce territorial inequalities and ensure the right to assistance for all.
