Sardinia energy policy faces delays and public debate

The Sardinian Regional Council has postponed a meeting of its special commission for energy, originally scheduled for November 4. The commission was established to coordinate regional energy policy, analyze socio-environmental impacts, and support the energy transition to address rising costs for families and businesses.

In response to the regional energy landscape, a public meeting titled “Agenda Energia Sardegna 2050” is scheduled for November 5 in Oristano. Organized by a coalition of civil society associations, the event aims to discuss secure, clean, and sustainable energy sources for the next 25 years. Participants will include Regional Industry Assessor Emanuele Cani and Antonio Solinas, president of the Regional Council’s productive activities commission. The forum seeks to provide clarity on the energy transition and foster dialogue between citizens and regional representatives.
