Sardinia fatal accident: Woman dies in Olbia-Arzachena collision

A 49-year-old woman, Alessandra Sabba, has died following a violent head-on collision on the Olbia-Arzachena state road (SS125) in Sardinia. The accident occurred on Friday, August 21, near Casagliana when the vehicle, a Citroën C4 carrying Sabba, her husband, and their two children (aged 13 and 7), reportedly crossed into the opposite lane and struck a Fiat Ducato.

After being hospitalized in critical condition at the Giovanni Paolo II Hospital in Olbia, Sabba was declared brain dead. Following the medical assessment, her family initiated the procedure for organ donation. While Sabba passed away, her husband and children sustained injuries but are reported to be in stable condition.
