Sardinia hosts fourth edition of Luoghi Letterari project
The fourth edition of the ‘Luoghi Letterari’ project is currently underway in Sardinia, involving five writers who are visiting various municipalities to draw inspiration from local history and landscapes. The first stage of the initiative, running from October 23 to October 27, 2026, focuses on the towns of Allai, Nuragus, Nurallao, Laconi, and Samugheo, which are part of the Sa Perda ’e Iddocca Tourist Consortium.
Participating authors include Eliselle, Christian Frascella, Michela Tanfoglio, Enrico Pandiani, and Elisabetta Spanu. Through an artistic residency format, these writers will engage with local communities and explore archaeological sites—such as nuraghi, sacred wells, and menhirs—to gather material for a collection of stories. These tales will be published in a book by Arkadia and are expected to be presented at the Turin International Book Fair.
A second stage of the project is scheduled for the spring of 2027, which will expand to include the municipalities of Asuni, Genoni, Meana Sardo, Ruinas, and Villanovatulo.
