Sardinia launches vouchers for aeronautical maintenance training

The Sardinian regional government has published a public notice on the ASPAL website offering individual training vouchers for the Aeronautical Maintenance License, a professional certification recognised across the EU under ENAC/EASA regulations. The scheme targets unemployed residents aged 18 to 31 who have lived on the island for at least 12 months, hold a secondary school diploma and an ISEE certificate not exceeding €40,000. Applicants must also demonstrate at least B1 level English and not already possess the licence.

"Il settore aeronautico – dichiara l’assessore del Lavoro Desirè Manca – rappresenta un comparto strategico ad alto contenuto tecnologico, con importanti prospettive di crescita e una crescente richiesta di personale qualificato," the assessor said, adding that the vouchers aim to create new skills, foster youth employment and meet industry demand. Beneficiaries can choose any training provider authorised under Part‑147 and listed in the ASPAL LMA 2026 catalogue, or propose new providers that meet regulatory requirements.
