Sardinia Region offers continued support to Nobento amid labor dispute

The Sardinia Region has expressed its continued readiness to support Nobento, an Alghero-based window and frame manufacturer, following the company's announcement of a request for a business continuity agreement.

Desirè Manca, the Regional Labor Councilor, stated that the regional government had previously identified specific support tools and a concrete path to safeguard workers in coordination with the Municipality of Alghero. However, she noted that the company had rejected these proposed solutions a year ago.

Manca emphasized that the regional administration remains open to dialogue with social partners, unions, and local institutions to protect jobs and families in the Alghero area.
