Sardinia weather forecast for August 9 shows regional temperature shifts

Weather forecasts for August 9 in northern Sardinia indicate varying temperature trends between the northeast and northwest regions.

In the Olbia and Gallura areas, temperatures are expected to decrease compared to recent days. Olbia is projected to see a maximum temperature of approximately 34 degrees Celsius, down from 38 degrees previously recorded. While the sky will remain mostly clear, local cloud buildup near hills may cause isolated showers or thunderstorms in inland areas during the afternoon.

Conversely, the Sassari region will experience a slight increase in temperatures. Sassari is expected to reach a maximum of 34 degrees, while inland areas like Ozieri could see temperatures hit 40 degrees. Alghero is forecasted to reach 36 degrees. Similar to the northeast, localized afternoon thunderstorms are possible in inland sectors.

Despite these differences, both regions will maintain summer conditions with light breezes and calm seas, supporting continued tourist activity across the coastlines and islands.
