Sardinia weather forecast predicts temperature drop and storms
A significant weather shift is expected in Sardinia, marked by a sharp decline in temperatures and increased instability starting September 9 and 10.
In the Gallura region, Olbia will experience its final warm days on September 9 with a maximum temperature of 34 degrees Celsius. However, a major change is forecast for September 10, with temperatures expected to drop to a maximum of 24 degrees Celsius. Increased cloud cover and potential rainfall or thunderstorms are anticipated.
In the Sassari region, the transition will be even more pronounced. Sassari is expected to see a temperature drop of approximately eight degrees Celsius, falling from 33 degrees to a maximum of 25 degrees. The Sassari area may face thunderstorms, particularly in the western sectors, with some areas experiencing heavy rain.
Wind conditions are also set to change, with north-westerly winds expected to strengthen, potentially reaching high intensity along northern coasts. Sea conditions are forecast to become rough or locally agitated across the Sardinian Sea.
