Sardinian Horse Championship to be held at Tanca Regia

The Tanca Regia Autumn Tour will host the Sardinian Horse Championship in Abbasanta from Friday, October 9, to Sunday, October 11. Organized by the regional agency Asvi, the A3* show jumping competition is restricted to horses born and raised in Sardinia that are registered in the oriental, Anglo-Arab, or Italian saddle horse genealogical books maintained by MASAF.

Approximately 230 pairs are expected to compete for a total prize pool of 51,000 euros. This prize money is divided into four categories based on the age of the horses: 4 years old, 5 years old, 6 years old, and 7 years and older. Notably, 20% of the final ranking prize money in each section will be allocated to the breeders.

The event schedule begins Friday with training courses and technical races including the C140 and C130. Saturday features the Piccolo Gran Premio (C135) and the C130, while Sunday concludes with the C135 progressive difficulty race and the C145 two-round Grand Prix. Last year's winner was Lorenzo Correddu riding Ultos.
