Sardoal celebrates 495 years of town status with five-day festival

Sardoal will host a five-day celebration from September 18 to 22 to mark the 495th anniversary of its elevation to town status. The festivities include a variety of musical, sporting, and traditional events.

The musical lineup features performances by Paulo Gonzo, Os Descendentes, Pedro Dyonysyo, and a tribute to António Variações. Additionally, the band Remember will perform an 80s and 90s tribute. The program also includes a round of the Campeonato Regional MX Ribatejo.

Mayor Pedro Rosa described the celebrations as a high point for community gathering, noting that the programming aims to balance cultural and recreational offerings with cost-effectiveness.
