Sare organizes demonstration for ETA prisoners during Aste Nagusia

The platform Sare has organized a demonstration in support of ETA prisoners to take place during the Aste Nagusia festivities. The mobilization, scheduled to start at the Elíptica plaza and end at the city hall, aims to demand an end to what the group describes as a penitentiary policy based on 'exceptionality and revenge.'

Sare spokespersons have called for the upcoming festivities to be held without the presence of ETA prisoners in jails, urging that they 'return home' to overcome the consequences of the conflict.

In response, victims' organizations such as Covite and Fundación Buesa have criticized these campaigns. They have emphasized that those imprisoned were not convicted for their ideas, but for acts of murder, kidnapping, injury, and extortion.
