Saren establishes new complaint channels for registries and notaries in Venezuela

The Autonomous Service of Registries and Notaries (Saren) has established new direct communication channels across Venezuela to allow citizens to submit complaints, claims, and suggestions regarding services and procedures.

These channels aim to increase transparency and strengthen citizen oversight. Users can report issues such as improper fee collection, requests for informal intermediaries (gestores), and unjustified delays in document delivery.

Available reporting methods include: • Telephone: Dedicated lines for guidance and reporting. • Email: An institutional address for detailed complaints and supporting documentation. • Digital Platforms: The official Saren portal and verified social media accounts on Instagram, Threads, TikTok, X, and Facebook.

Additionally, the agency recently addressed service disruptions in La Guaira by activating a temporary single-service window in Sucre municipality following structural damage to local offices. Saren also reported the successful digitalization of over 450,000 historical documents to safeguard archives from the region.
