Sarens delivers custom SPMT system for Melbourne tunnel and supports Vietnam wind‑farm logistics

Sarens engineered and successfully tested a customised heavy‑transport solution for the North East Link tunnel project in Victoria, Australia. The system combines ten‑axle Kamag K24ST self‑propelled modular transporters with a hydraulically operated frame, allowing it to move and precisely position concrete panels up to 36 tonnes and lift them to heights of 12.5 metres within the confined tunnel cavity.

Separately, Sarens has been contracted by Infinity Logistics to carry out yard‑marshalling and lifting of wind‑turbine tower sections at the Phu My site in Vietnam. Using a CC1500 crawler crane with a 42‑metre main boom, the company is handling the logistics of tower components essential to Vietnam’s goal of installing about 26 GW of wind capacity by 2030.
